The Ziro Music Festival is one of India’s most acclaimed independent music festivals, held annually in the heart of Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh. Established in 2012 by Bobby Hano and Menwhopause guitarist Anup Kutty, the festival showcases an eclectic lineup of artists from across India and the world, spanning genres from indie rock and folk to experimental and global sounds. Set against a backdrop of lush rice fields and rolling hills, Ziro’s unique outdoor bamboo stages and community-driven spirit make the event a vibrant celebration of music, nature, and northeast Indian culture.

Hosted by the indigenous Apatani tribe, the festival not only spotlights emerging acts from Northeast India but also deeply engages visitors in local traditions, cuisine, and eco-friendly practices.
